Yay!! Your first (of many, I hope) SPN fic of the year!! I can't believe it took me so long to read it! (though it's all your fault because I *had* to finish all three Resurrection stories before I could start this! ;P).

Anyway, as usual it was awesome! I don't think I've ever mentioned how much I adore Stanford era reunion fics? And you managed to mix all the ingredients of a perfect one without it even being situated in stanford!

I love how Dean didn't hesitate to take a plane and go to see his Sammy (and how he resented his father's pride) without even thinking on the consequences of being in another continent. The cultural shock was priceless: he really couln't wrap his mind around how soccer works in Europe (being in Spain I understand it very very well) and your descriptions from Dean's POV were both hilarious and spot on!.

But of course, my love goes to Sam. And how in spite of being stranded and rejected from his family he's basically living in a cheap apartment and spending all his money making sure his family is safe and kind of sponsoring the hunter grid. And it's amazing how you managed to insert this possibility into canon so seamlessly thanks to his love for soccer.

In summary, the hurt feelings, the wariness, the sense of betrayal, the longing and the temptative steps to get closer, the concealed hope... just perfect.

It hurts to think in just a few days Sam is going to lose everything, but I guess it's the way it must be, and at the boys will always have each other! Thanks for another great story!

I knew you'd understand about the soccer-hype. :D

I just couldn't make this too AU - and by too AU I mean not have terrible things happen to them that ruin their lives. I'm a bad person.

Glad you liked the Ressurection 'verse. :D (I knew you would!)

Sorry for the super late reply, by the way. Things happened in real life (as in, I'm out of work again) and everything is stressfull. I should still have taken 5 minutes out of the day to reply to your comment.
