It can, actually. Besides the fact that this story is super cute and super sweet, it's also kind of heartbreaking, because this is Supernatural and we manage to add angst even to the main chacaters spending the entire story as little balls of fluff. This fic is set during season 5, when the relationship between the brothers is at its worst. And then, suddenly, they are kittens and only made of protective instincts and affection. It's made all the more heartbreaking by the fact that even as kittens, Sam and Dean are very much themselves - just without all the crap that keeps them apart. Also, in a way, this story contains one of the most beautiful character analysises for Sam I have ever read. That it's all told through Castiel's eyes just makes it even better.
