Yay! Fanfics!

My creativity is back, yay! In fact there is so much of it that I can't decide what to write, which is quite a problem. Anyway, I'd love to write a long fanfic and illustrate it. But I wouldn't know what to chose. I'm totally in love with the tv-show Lost right now and even have plenty ideas for stories, but drawing these people would be hell, so that's a bad idea. But I need to write something! Badly. You can tell by the fact that I'm writing in this journal, even though I know no-one is ever going to read it.

Anyway, back to Lost. Have I mentioned that I love that show? Though the second season made me dislike some of the chararcters a lot. Locke for example. I used to like him but now I just want to hit him with something hard. One of the things I hope to see someday is a scene in which Locke gets beaten up by Sawyer. Why Sawyer? Because, let's face it, Charlie just isn't build for it. And because SawyerxCharlie = OTP. Yes, I'm wired like that. But I also like Charlie a lot with Sayid, mostly thanks to the wonderful stories of http://themoononastick.livejournal.com/. (I would include the link in the usual way if I only knew how to do it.) And, someone drown Claire please. The girl is starting to seriously get on my nerves.

Ah, I like Darth Charlie! That's why I chose this icon here. I really, really like him! But the whole story leading to that makes me want to cry. I tend to take things like that kind of personal, because I know how it feels to be let down by everyone. So my feelings about episodes like "Fire & Water" are rather mixed: I like it because it is about a character I adore, but I hate it because it makes me want to kill people.
But... Sawyer and Charlie! Yay! (Astro and I agree that 'yay' has to be the best word ever.)

So, useless to mention that all the fanfics I have at least outlined are set after "The Long Con". For the moment the one with the most chances of getting finished anytime soon is the one staring Claire and Turniphead, Charlie, Sawyer, Locke and Jack. I've even started it. Here are some lines from somewhere in the middle:

“Just leave, okay, Charlie?” she said, feeling anger and confusion and things she had no name for. “I told you I don’t want you anywhere near me or my baby anymore.” There was a catch before the last word, a hesitation before she added it, almost too brief to notice but she, herself, noticed it, felt her tongue stumble over the syllables. The past was washing onto the shore with the waves that carried the water of a thousand oceans onto this tiny piece of land.
Charlie just looked at her for another second, his eyes too dark, too deep for the boy she remembered and there was no anger on his face, no hurt, just a sort of faintly amused curiosity. He suddenly leaned forward, looking left and right, even into the shadowed area of the trees behind him, and Claire found her eyes following his gaze, wondering what he was looking for. She listened carefully and all she heard was the wind.
“Funny”, Charlie said. “I just can’t seem to find it.”
“Find what?” she wanted to know, trying to sound annoyed and failing.
“The sign,” Charlie replied, “that says: This Beach Belongs To Claire Littleton.”

Yepp, that's the way I write. Add a dramatic sigh here. That's the best I can do after years of practice... Do I need to menion that English is not my native language?
If anyone was reading this I'd ask if they thought it was worth continuing. It's funny talking to myself like this... Ah, I'm wired. And tired. Gotta go to bed now.
