Update on the BigBangs

So, first of all, my brother is married now and I'm back home. Despite being busy with family meeting after family meeting during the days the artist claims for the spn_gen_bigbang went on, I managed to grab two fics to do art for: No Place to Grow Old by greeneyes_fan and The Art of Pulling Pie from Thin Air by spn_gen_bigbang. Both stories are extremely awesome and the authors are a joy

Right now I'm trying to talk myself out of INTO joining the minibang hosted by sassy_otp.

I can't! I need a frigging break from deadlines. But then I think that deadline is only in October. And then I remember that I have to write for Great Blue Word every day to keep the chapters coming. And then I think that I'm almost done with part one and the big bang would offer a good excuse to write a timestamp from that fic, about things Sam and Cas did without Dean around. But that fic is strictly gen, so it wouldn't really fit the requirements of the comm and.

Alas, I'm torn.

I think I'll decide after I finished my current minibang. Which is probably going to be around 20,000 words in the end because I just can't keep them short.

I'm pretty sure the Sassy MB is like the Sam/Dean one -- that is, it allows Sam and Cas friendship fic as well as pairing fic, as long as Sam and Cas's relationship, whatever its nature, is at the center of the story. I've been wishing I could do it, but I write so slowly, and, though I have half of a fic with Sam/Cas in it, its central relationship is really unrequited Sam/Dean.

I'm glad to hear Great Blue World is going to be up to the end of pt 1 soon. I'm terrible at following WIP, but I will definitely read when there is a complete chunk I love Dean says Yes AUs.

I think you're right. If I come up with a long enough story I want to tell about them, I migth make use of the opportunity.

I'm working on the final chapter of part one at the moment. (It'll be posted only in a month, though.) It'll end on a cliffhanger. And then I'll take a (not too long), so I'll already have a few chapters finished when I start posting the rest.

It would be awesome if you could join, but I understand about slow writing.

By the way, right now I am enjoying another one of your new fics! And totally looking forward to the Sam/Cas, Sam/Dean one.

*Ahem* Now that is out of the way... I'm glad you are back, I hope you had a wonderful time with your family and sightseeing. It's great you managed to claim two stories to do art for. I love what I've seen 'till now, it's always moving a full of feeling, so I'm really dying to see what you will come up with.

Quickreaver is awesome. So are my authors. I just wish I had more time for drawing, but no! Deanlines are haunting my arse. Hence me being hesitant to join another BB.

But then, I've been thinking of maybe writing that other fic I wanted to write for your auction prompt: the one with S5 Sam killing himself daily because Lucifer always haunts his sleep. 10,000 words might be a good length for it...

Oh. OH. OH!!! That would be... well, it would be totally awesome, really. I didn't know you were still thinking in writing it so you just made me very happy! And *cough* certainly I wouldn't complain if it were 10.000 words... It's an amazing length!

To be honest, the first thought that crossed my mind when I saw the mini-bang was "I hope vail joins!". But... hum... also I don't want to pressure you if you are worried about deadlines. So don't feel obligued on my account okay? Just do it if you think you can and if you feel like it. I'm too greedy for your stories and even if you spoil me, nothing will ever be enough! XDD

I had thought about dropping that idea because I have so little time and already wrote two fics for the auction, but on the other hand I promised I'd do it and I have some ideas I really want to use for it.
I think 10,000 words might actually be enough to tell that story. My problem so far is that my big (or mini) bangs tend to get too long.
