I have my viva voce (in the living voice) this Friday at 10.30am.
I am surprised and amused that I am not paranoid about it. Maybe the news has not set in. Maybe other paranoias are occupying space.
I'm expected to do a 20 minute presentation about my thesis in front of a board of professors and lecturers. Now I have to do slides. Designing them is a challenge, so I think I'll be simple, use black and white. Be like an Apple computer. Or maybe use frilly slides, so they know I'm a lady.
Oh, I start work on 2/6 at Cosmopoint (KLMUC) in KL town. I might move to Sentul or travel from home. Deciding, finding.
Prof. Shanta Nair rang me today. She sounds regal, organized and of course smart. Profesor kan. My friends sort of dislike her as she is fussy and nitpicky. She used to refer to the projector as 'apparatus'. Ha?
