Damn, the eleventh of may is when I last touched this thing? What cas I say. The summer has consumed me. I've had so much to do these past few months, its been damn near overwhelming. But a whole lotta fun along the way, I can tell you that.
We had british friend stay over, we went to Fanime, I had yet another surgery (minor) and another friend from alabama (arabama?) came to hang out, too. Went to Seattle for a day, to the aquarium, then the international district. Didnt spend a whole lot, though. DAMN! Pink Godzilla is the coolest fuckin store! Classic Imported Gaming! I love you, Pink Godzilla.
Okay...So...God of War. Basically...this game is pure genius. Its fun. SO much fun to play. I couldnt put it down. The story had me glued. The main character, is quite possibly, the most brutal character to ever emerge into the video game world. Kratos > All. The extra cinemas are fantastic. Leave us guessing on the sequal eh? I definately would love to see one.
Red Dead Revolver- Another wonderfully fun game. Even the western setting is absolutely perfect. The story line unfolds like a real western movie. (My grandfather LOVES westerns, so I've seen a ton) And it even with the main protagonist shooting off a cool line. "It never WAS about the money..." Heh! Coming from a bounty hunter, too. Excellent.
Makai Kingdom: Chronicles of the Sacred Tome- Ah yes, Nippon Ichi. This game is fun to play. The story is humorous, and the gameplay reminds me of Breath of Fire 5 a little bit. They give you a circle to move around in, rather than a bit of squares. Nice addition. But something is lacking...The ability to make the enemies stronger through-out the game would have been nice, like you could do in Disgaea. I dunno, that was just a nice little addition I felt they could have added. Then again, this game WAS made on last minute whim. Despite this, it comes off rather well, and has nice bit of hidden characters to collect for your ever growing army. Good, but nothing ground breaking, I suppose.
Aaand that seems to be it! This is Vahr...signing off....*click*
