UMASS AMHERST OPEN HOUSE
ANNOUNCEMENT!!
It's that time of year to be looking at colleges. I know that David, Erica and I have already gone to UMass Amherst once before. HOWEVER. There were no students there, which to me made it feel like less of a college. Uh. anyways!
THERE IS A FALL OPEN HOUSE ON OCTOBER 22, 2005.
I'm getting together a precious few who are seriously considering UMass as a college choice.
The party I hope to get together can be up to 5 people. My mother and I are not included. This means that space is given on a FIRST COME-FIRST SERVE basis. So far I have reserved spaces until further notice for the following:
Erica
Krista
Jamie
Phoebe
if you DO get a spot and seriously plan on actually coming, i ask that everyone bring atleast 5-8 dollars for gas money, seeing as my mom isnt working right now and gas prices are unbelieveable. also, bring either money or a bagged lunch. They have vending machines in the campus center lobby.
if there;s anything else i forgot, check back here, as i will put it in an "EDIT" section.

# Tour the campus
# Speak with faculty
# Visit lab, studios and student art galleries
# Talk with current students
# Meet admissions and financial aid counselors
# Check out an incredible autumn day in Amherst
The day begins at 9:00 a.m. at the Mullins Center so we would be leaving EARLY!!! We would probably meet at my house around 6 30(so we can leave and make a stop at DD, of course)!!
This is on a saturday so if any of you have work and wanna come, ask your bosses well in advance for the day off.
