Have I got an act for you.
It seems I'm not allowed to register for classes until July 12th. So that saves me a bit of stress. My music classes are all approved, I just have to sign up for them. I hope they've got some openings left in the classes I need.
My dog is currently sitting under my feet underneath the desk shivering. Someone is setting of fire crackers and scaring him.
I'm borrowing a banjo from Mr. Haller (long story.) These past two days working things out on it and exploring what it can do have been wonderful. I haven't been this excited about learning in a long time. I'm glad that music can still excite me the way it used to when I was first learning. I haven't lost my spark.
On the other hand, though, I wish that I could go back to when I was learning the flute and rekindle some of the excitement I had for it. I'll always love playing, but something is lost after you've been doing something for so long. I wish it weren't so comfortable.
I want to curl up and go to sleep.
