The holidays, much stress as usual. Sorry to have been quiet recently, but I will agree with the two of you that it is not for lack of interest, just everything else. We had talked about December being a lost month, but really it hasn’t, I don’t think. Do you guys play any instruments? I just got a concertina, I love it, even though I don’t know how to read music, it has really picked my spirits up. It just feels to me as though it lives when I play it, rejoices at the birth of life that I give it after its long sleep. The vaguely marginal is the same way. I was thinking, in planning for our show, it would be interesting to meet everyone at the door playing something. Or maybe one person placed along the way doing something, either reading, giving a speech, playing and instrument, doing a painting, ect. So that as people are walking to the show, or even people just walking by, they can see what we are saying. That there is another way. We wouldn’t really even have to identify ourselves at this point, I don’t know which would be better, I guess it depends on how much publicity we want at that moment, but think that it would be good not to identify ourselves till the show started. This opens up a lot. We could set it up in play or stage format, allowing us not to have to greet people at the door ourselves and insuring that they stay through the whole act, or it could even be ongoing wile we do this outside all through the show. I’m not looking for any recognition, so I really don’t mind not being in the room to say, “that’s mine.” Possibly, if we want to meet with every one we could set a time for everyone to go to a restaurant or “free beer after 9 here” on the program. I don’t know, let me know what you guys think. Merry Christmas, happy New Year, happy holidays and all. - 1cent.
