The Outside party_sphinx August 31 2010, 01:45:00 UTC
Outside the nightclub is a huge statute of the Party Sphinx. The three pyramids are lavishly decorated with gold, especially the capstones at the very top of each pyramid. They are well-lit at night and are beautiful. Out back is the various things needed to run the club, pottery and utensil materials and makers, papyrus, wheat, and other grown food fields, grazing pastures for the meat animals, and Ammut's pen. The cheetah humanoids guard the area well, nothing escapes their sight.

Ammut's Pen party_sphinx August 31 2010, 01:47:48 UTC
[In this pen that's separated from the nightclub and has warning signs around is the beast Ammut. Ammut has the head of a crocodile and the body of a lion and a hippo. His job is to eat the troublemakers that there's no helping act right that the bouncers bring to him.

Ammut's awake and eagerly looking forward to munching on anybody that misbehaves.

For now, he's content with chewing on the rather large bone he was given.]

[Warning signs? What are warning signs? Araragi is outside of the pen, taking notes and sketches, trying to learn about this strange creature.]

Hey there sweetheart. Just what kind of pokemon are you? I wonder if you're from a different region...

[She clicks her tongue at him, trying to get his attention.]

[Hmm, a vistor? How unusual. But, if they come in the pen, they're free game. He'll play along for now, since he doesn't have anything better to do.

Amuut picks up the bone in his mouth and trots over closer to her, then plops down and starts chewing on it again. He hasn't decided what to think of her, and if he should talk to her. Though, it'd probably be fun to see her reaction.]

The Main Pyramid party_sphinx August 31 2010, 01:48:22 UTC
The first thing that you see when entering the main pyramid is a large stone tablet with all the rules engraved on it. The jackal-headed bouncers are paired 2 to each doorway and stand there silently, watching everything. Part of the middle is dedicated to tables and falcon-headed servers quickly arrive to take care of the needs of the patrons, giving them fine papyrus menus to look over, serving food and drinks, and refilling any drinks that become empty. The other part of the middle is a well-lit dance floor. In the back is the bar, which is run by black panther humanoids with cheerful dispositions. Every kind of drink imaginable is served there, and they can mix new ones if desired. There's a small section in the back that contains a karaoke bar. The left wall has an entryway to the hallway that leads to the Rave Pyramid and the right wall has an entry way to the Lounge Pyramid's hallway.

The Rules party_sphinx August 31 2010, 01:50:22 UTC
The rules of the nightclub are engraved in multiple languages on a large stone tablet at the front of the entrance hall to the main pyramid.

1.  No fighting

2.  No drugs allowed

3.  Respect the other patrons

4.  Don't steal anything from the club or shopkeepers - pay for what you want

5.  If you want or need anything, do not hesitate to ask

Failure to heed to these rules and causing other kinds of trouble will result in analysis on a case-by-base basis.  Consequences range from working in the club, paying a fine, being thrown out, and being taken outside and fed to Ammut.

[Marie has become completely fascinated by the bartenders mixing drinks. She's ordered a variety, and has drunk a few, just to see them mix them and learn how via observation. For some reason mixing various alcohols never occurred to her and she is kind of wishing she'd done this instead of becoming a teacher. this seems way more fun.]

[The bartenders happily oblige her whims, they like trying new combinations and creations. As they mix the different drinks, they're sort of dancing and making their own rhythms.]

Hallway to the Rave Pyramid party_sphinx August 31 2010, 01:51:02 UTC
The hallway to the Rave Pyramid is guarded by the bouncers and is lined with a large booth run by lion humanoid shopkeepers. They sell glow in the dark everything and glow sticks. If you want it, they have it. They specialize in multi-colored glowsticks, and if there is a combination you want that isn't currently out, they can mix it up quick for you. The current special they're running is "Buy 1, Get 1 Free" on rainbow glowsticks.

[She doesn't understand how glowsticks work, but she wants them. She is buying up as many as she can. She likes light and color and now she can run around wearing it.

This

is the best day

ever.]

[You're the shopkeeper's favorite kind of customer, and he can't help but give a hearty laugh at your enthusiasm.

He glances over what she's got on.]

Any special colors you'd like me to make for you?

You got any blue? I don't know how exactly these work, but in my line of making light, blue's a pretty tough mix.

The Rave Pyramid is smaller than the Main one and the same size as the Lounge Pyramid, but it is by no means tiny. It's fairly dark with lots of empty space for dancing. The DJ booth controls the speakers that boom loud music all through the night. There's blacklights, many colored lights, disco light-up flooring, laser lights, disco balls, and other fun lights that make the rave a unique experience. Near the entranceway are stands with free water to make sure the patrons stay hydrated.

Currently, the song playing is a dance remix of "Walk Like an Egyptian".

[Why would Moltres not be in the rave pyramid? It is like this place was MADE for her. Really, all parties were made for her. She is out in the middle of the dance floor, just having the time of her life. How often does she get to go to human parties and cut loose? Barely at all, which is to tragic really.]

[Captain Eo is enjoying the rave, he's never been to one before. He's busting out all his best dance moves, and is currently moonwalking across the room.

He got a little excited with the glow bracelets, and he's got glowing colored stripes down both his arms and both his legs. Also, the lights on his jacket are lighting up.]

You're pretty good, man!

[Moltres has found a few glowsticks herself, but is mostly preferring to have the edges of her clothes on fire because that is way more fun. She's able to control the fire so it doesn't get out of hand or burn anything. It's mostly just for show.]

Like the other hallway, this hallway is guarded by the bouncers. There's many brightly colored booths run by lion humanoid shoopkeepers selling nearly anything imaginable. If they don't have it, you can order it and they'll obtain it before the end of the night, guaranteed.

[Since she rarely spends her paycheck from working at Brofist, Yotsuba is running around the hallway buying anything and everything that is brightly colored and exciting. She's covered in glow sticks from the Rave hallway and has balloons and snacks and toys, and is just far too overstimulated for her own good.]

[In the hallway as well, there is Nel, sitting on a large pile of cookies and is happily (and sloppily) munching on one.]
