I'm glad you like the flowers, Mary.

I do, they are even more wonderful than I imagined.

Mm...there's just something about Spring, isn't there? When you can smell all the flowers in the air and there's a gentle breeze...

[Laughs]

Maybe you should try writing poetry sometime, I think you would be very good at it, Chrono.

Poetry, me? I don't think I have a good enough vocabulary. Maybe I should just work at making flowers out of icing to decorate cakes with.

I believe it takes practice like with other things. I'm sure if you tried, you would be very good.

The first cake you made didn't come out as wonderfully as you had hoped, correct?

The first cake I made...yeah, it was pretty bad. So I guess that's true, maybe with practice I'd be okay at it.

You know, the first cake I made wasn't very good either. But I continued trying, learning from my mistakes each time. It's actually a very good lesson in that way, don't you think so?

So yes, after a bit of practice I believe you could be very good. As long as you keep trying.

It's a good way to look at it. Learning from our mistakes. ...I guess it wouldn't hurt to try.

No, of course not. And I would be more than happy to help. I cannot say I know poetry very well, though. I've only read a little of it. So perhaps then we could both become better at it.

Something for us to do together? I bet having a writing partner would help make learning poetry a lot easier.

Yes, I suppose it would be. I'm sure two opinions would help matters as well. But I hope that isn't a problem, I'm not very good myself.

I don't think it would be a problem. I'm not that good, either. But maybe we'll be able to see the mistakes in each other's work.

We could always ask for someone else's opinion, too. I bet Remington would be a good judge.

I believe so.

[A bit of a laugh] Yes, I suppose so. Though it doesn't need to be perfect either.

Well, no, but it can be the best it can be!

Yes, that's true. I'm sure we can manage a good poem if we try. When shall we start?
