Yesterday was my one year anniversary for moving up here.
One hell of a year. I'm very glad I took this chance.
I've had two jobs. One made me completely disgusted with government employees. The other is for a company I love and feels like home.
I've made a couple really great friends, but I haven't met nearly enough people. I need to branch out and take advantage of the social opportunities around me. I'm getting to be closer with my coworkers, so that's good.
I will own a house next month. Holy crap. I'm still wrapping my mind around that one. I can't wait to start working on the place.
So here's to year two!
