Well so before my reaction guys, I need to let you know about THE MOST EPIC THING. Just when I thought there was no more actor meta Sam Witwer could do, he comes out with an interview that goes in depth into Aidan.
AND HOW IS AIDAN LIKE DEXTER?!?*rolls around on the floor*
AHEM. Back to bizness, I'm catching up with my reactions bcoz NEW EPISODE TOMORROW. RAWR.
So we left off with a Davisy Aidan and Josh and Sally being woobily depressed to the song that I am currently obsessing over- The Ghost in You, by Matthew Puckett. I am of the state of mind that all this depression could have been easily fixed by a threesome, but as of the fourth episode it hasn't happened yet....
So we open to Aidan. In a library. Just subtly flirting slutty librarian into being his meal. And just as she's locking up the library for some sex-where-she'll-get-dead he goes...pfffttt. Either he's really changed or he's worried that Josh will get jealous.
Sally is in the middle of the Danny/BestFriendBridget sandwich and wants to spew out her nonexistant bodily fluids.
Josh is out divesting himself of clothes in the woods, but all your neighborhood and your mother seems to be camping out so he can't seem to find a place to change. He has nice abs. He changes. A guy watches him creepily from the shadows. I wish it was Aidan. Sadly it's not. Josh wakes up to find werewolf douche Ray looking creepily at him, and reacts in a Josh way- accepting the most ridiculous looking clothes imaginable and getting out of there, fast. I take a minute to feel sorry for Ray, before recognising that his accent is too horrible for that.
Sally and Aidan and Josh have an adorable ot3 scene where they all echo eachother and everyone but Aidan is in hell. Also, Aidan makes amusing frowny faces at cold blood.
At the hospital, Josh meets Nora, who's going to be a love interest later. Not sure how I feel about her though. Score one for her noticing the doe eyes tho.WerewolfDouche Ray approaches Aidan and AIdan thinks he;ll be good for Josh because Josh hates the other side of him so much. So, Josh listens, but only because it's Aidan here. So Ray, just one cup of coffee and they are not bros. Elsewere, Aidan gets accosted by Rebecca who just awoke out of twilight sleep and wants to go clean. She tries to make him feel guilty for a bit, but then she looks sorry and they huddle comfortably in the alley way. I like it, because, imo, there's far more emotion here than Mitchell/Lauren in the BBC version.
Sally and uses her ghosty powers to explode something and give Bridget an attack of nonononobadidea. Score one for Sally. Or not.
Josh and Ray go out on a werewolf picnic, with Ray teaching Josh some tricks of the trade- rump roast and citrus wipes notwithstanding.
Aidan tries to feed Rebecca bagged blood in an emotional huggy scene (I like seeing Aidan attempt to be gentle), but it turns out they are more interested in eating eachother. I approve of this mutual self-torture. It's actually pretty hot. Also, let it be noted that this is Sam Witwers's second scripted oncreen orgasm for this show. Emmy material. Lord knows I watched it enough.
As creeper Ray moves in (with much Aidan-manuevering by Josh) things start to go downhill. He gives Josh quite possibly the worst advice when it comes to women, shows he true hick colors and realllllyyy hates Aidan. Boo.
Aidan and Sally have a talk about her best friend and murderous fiance and Aidan eyesexes her woobily, but its so a reflex. Then, he explains that it's not neccesaily about the perfect person but someone you can claw your way out of the dark with. Methinks he's talking about Rebecca right now. Sally is convinced and removes her compulsion/guilt from her best friend to let her mack with Danny. (At this point I ship Sally/Bridget way more than any of them with Danny.) I think this is a bad idea. Also, his hair is horrible.
There's a monstage somewhere there of creeper!ray and Josh and everybody being domestric, and some really messy Aidan/Rebecca sexing where Aidan's back is naked and bloody. HEE.
Aidan and Rebecca attempt to be human, and eat dinner and they share one really cute moment about the food being colorful and then look completely sick afterward. Vampire cravings, folks. It's like chocolate and your menstrual cycle, only YOU CAN'T TURN IT OFF.
Anyway, they flee before they end up slaughteing the restaurant and make out messily in an alleyway and its like.... I don't know... Beast in Smallville if it was more out of control. They get interrupted by kitchen guy who Aidan narrowly stops Rebecca from eating. They go to the partment, rebecca is all weepy and hungry and Aidan is so sweet in comforting her and I would really want on of he wasn't so hungry. Aidan runs to the shower, turns on the water, rips off his jacket...and doesn't shower. THIS IS TRAGIC. He freaks out, while telling Rebecca it'll all be alright in the next room, but when he gets out, pooft, she's gone. HIS FACCCEEEE.
Danny comes and talks to Sally, but Sally lets him go. AND GOOD RIDDANCE DANNY.
Cut back to Josh and Ray, this is the part where I want to kill Ray. He invites Josh out for a drink to celebrate their wolfdom, and if all his 'to the wolf' wasn't already creepy enough he baits Josh into attacking a nest of werewolves. Josh won't do it until Marcus attacks him and a bloodymouthed Ray and then Josh keeps hitting Marcus in a half-cute half-scary werewolf way...
I think Marcus may be dead. but nooooooooooooooo
nonky made me like marcus. This is bad.
Then Ray is even creepier, telling Josh he knows it felt good to tear that leech up. Ugh. Also, I think as rednecked as he is, he has a creepy alpha male attraction for Josh. Josh is falling apart poor thing. WHERE ARE MY JAIDAN HUGS!?!
