Summary: Chloe and Davis meet in the smoking ash, and strike up a relationship, unwitting of the darkness trying to claw its way out of Davis. Davis wakes up covered in blood. He confesses his fears to Chloe and they consummate their relationship. As the blackouts worsen, they discover that's Chloe's tenuous control of Davis's alter ego is slipping. Chloe suggests they leave town together. On the road, Davis turns to vigilantism to hold down Doomsday.
Tess Mercer detonates a bomb in their car, apparently killing them both. A delirious Chloe wakens in the hospital, having healed from her injuries because of her powers. Meanwhile a badly-burned Davis wakes in the Luthor mansion, beginning to regenerate.
Chloe begs Clark for any information on where Davis might be and traces the information back to Tess. They confront each other and Tess confesses that Davis is just her tool to make Clark accept his destiny as the world's savior. She asks Chloe to join her for the sake of her best friend. Chloe attacks her and refuses. Tess has Chloe thrown out and Chloe realizes that she has no way to find Davis.
Meanwhile, Tess begins to craft Davis into a perfect opponent from Clark, brainwashing and torturing him and finally turning him into a member of her Injustice League. As Davis spirals further into darkness, memories of Chloe and her death torment him. He confronts Tess and nearly kills her, but begins to remember the man that he wanted to be. He retreats to find a way to end things alone. Chloe's in a race against time to find the man she loves. Can they find eachother?
I'm not done quite yet. Next vid gets into 'all the things Davis has done', manpain, the actual 'finding' and...well.... you know me...
Also, Happy Fourth of July, you all. Hope you totally stuffed yourselves with onions and organic burgers and iced tea and cherries like me so you can sympathize with me later. ;P
