sv failsday reminder and chloom/chlavis day!?!
So a quick reminder for y-all, we're getting into the home stretch forsv_failsday entries, so those of you who want to jump at the prizes, posting some time before monday/on monday will work. Extension requests come in here, if you need one.
Now for something completely unrelated. (okay. I lied) tobywolf13came up with the awesome idea of chloom day. There are comms for things like spawnfic_tuesday (Chlean and Chlam kids from crossovers with SPN), chlean_thursday (Chloe and Dean from SPN). There aren't tons of authors, but a good amount 4 or 5 or something.
What about a chloom/chlavis/dhoe day? It would be for mostly shorter stuff, or anything. Drabbles would work and would help us illuminate tiny corners of our ship. I know I have a backlog of ideas I'd like to try out myself.
Our fanbase of like-minded awesome folks is not at all as tiny as I'd once thought. We could rewrite fail and learn more about our characters, we could give feedback and receive it, we could preserve the integrity of our favorite characters. Oh and do COLLABS.
We could have totally crazy prompts too, like exorcising doomsday in an elevator (as kinky as you want!) or *personal stalkers* or young Davis in SV or Chlavis in the 70s or Davis as a firefighter....
We could also give big f-u to SV/PS3/failwriters of fail and their messages about unhealthy relationships/being doormats and the characterization of monkeys on crack.
(C'mon, how could we miss out on that? )
When/if it happens it would by around July 1st or so, after failsday wraps up and to give us a rest. So do you like the idea? Am I completely nutty-cakes? sound off!
