i really like this. i was sad to find that nobody around me really cared about prop 8, or had any idea what it was, and that they aren't bothered by it.

just yesterday i was thinking i wonder what my values would be, what my point-of-view would be if i had been raised in a place like berkeley. i guess i will never know for sure but i know i would really fucking appreciate having people like you around, people who give a shit.

because far be it for ME to tell SOMEONE ELSE what they are or aren't allowed to do with other consenting adults, period.
Bottom line, I think. And no one seems to grasp it.

I wish I could stand there with you. Sadly, though, Oklahoma is so backward, we can't even have a conversation about gay marriage here. We're busy protesting the people who want to overturn Roe v. Wade, who keep putting up huge poster boards with pictures of aborted fetuses on campus.

But all it takes is that one victory to really start changing people's hearts and minds. It takes time and it's difficult, but it's worth the fight. So, I'm there with you in spirit, I guess, is what I'm saying.

Amen. Ditto. 100%

I think I'm a lil bit in love with you now; you inspire me.
