this reflection in my mirror reminds me of you
You know how sometimes people on your friendslist post about stuff going on in their life, and all of a sudden you think "Wait a minute? Since when were they working THERE? Since when were they dating HIM/HER? Since when???" And then you wonder how you could have missed all that seemingly pretty standard information, but somehow you feel too ashamed to ask for clarification because it seems like info you should already know? It happens to all of us sometimes.

21. i am totes not over the ~wonder of being 21. i go places and still buy alcohol just because i can! a lot of the time i don't even get carded, which is lame because i took an awesome ID photo just for the occasion! seriously though, my passport and ID photos are freakin hot.
LOCATION
Berkeley, CA. i dig it. it's got flaws (where doesn't?) but i feel very at home here. people are weird looking and most don't care if you think they're weird. there's always something going on and i've met so many wonderful inspiring people here. plus it's soso close to San Francisco, and i love the city more than words can describe.
but i'm from Long Beach! it's 6.5 hours south of here, thereabouts. it is said to eb the most ethnically diverse town in the country?? idk abt that, but i dig it too. on a visiting basis, not to like, live there.
OCCUPATION
i'm a full time student. i've never had a job. no one wants to hire me. i'm not all that good at school, either. but i'll be done with it december 2010. i don't know what i'm doing when i graduate, so please don't ask. =) i'm a gender and womyn's studies major and i love it. i love the things we talk about, i love the heavy theory, i love my professors and i love the people in my classes (mostly).

i don't have one, currently, but i am seeing someone. =) we are feeling each other out~ and seeing where things go~. it is totally chill and i dig her a lot. =)
i rant abt a lot of different crushes pretty frequently, although t's pretty much the only one on my mind currently. it is probably not very easy to keep up with them. not much i can do abt that, though. sorry.
KIDS
i never wanted to give birth until the midwife came to talk to us when i took femsex. we watched a home birth video called Birth Day! the mother was a midwife and was totally in tune with what was going on in her body, knew what she needed and when she needed it, and was just totally inspiring. pregnancy is not a disease. now i want to have a water birth! soo cool!
but that will be far in my future. i'm expensive enough on my own. o.o

3-5 THINGS GOING ON IN MY LIFE
1. school. i hate and love it in equal amounts. i told my parents today my graduation date. this, of course, means that i now need to actualfax graduate. i am terrified that i won't.
2. FemSex. i facilitate a class. it is a lot of responsibility. i also practically run the program, and when i actively try not to, shit doesn't get done.
3. my thesis. this would fall under school, but it doesn't. it makes me panicky. it causes chest pain. i need it to graduate. i'm writing on Black womyn and hair. i don't know what i'm doing. i hate everything. this is why i don't talk about it.
