I just went and knocked on the girl downstairs door at 1:30am. She's wide awake and all lights on, of course. And what else? Surprise. BASS UP ON STEREO.
I couldn't hear it so much when she answered her door, but the conversation went a little bit like this.
knock knock knock knock.
"yes?"
"hey, I live upstairs.. "
"okay."
"Your bass is really loud. Could you turn it down after 10pm?"
"Yeah, I tried but I don't know how. I hear your 'TECHNO' music too, so.."
"Yeah, that's during the day. You're playing your music at 1:30am and when I have to be to work at 4am and can't sleep because of your music..."
"OKAY....?"
"I'm not mad, I'm just frustrated. I can turn my music down if you'll do the same, it's just I'm playing music during the day and you're doing it in the middle of the night / early morning."
"Okay."
"I'm not mad at you, I'm just frustrated because all I hear is the bass, not the music, and that keeps me awake..."
"Alright, sorry."
"okay."
I can still hear it. :( Of course my senses are still listening for it and picking that out above every/anything else. Maybe white noise would help..
