I realized yesterday that I miss the company of a certain friend a lot and even though I get to see that person a few times a year it just isn't the same. Also, we don't have the same level of intimacy on the phone...the communication isn't right and doesn't keep the friendship up to a level I've come to understand as necessary.
A distance has grown and it makes me ache. I'm not fond of this feeling one bit, but I'm probably going to have to learn to live with it as it's not likely to change.

Oddly, this really could somewhat apply to more than one person. Weird.

I used the word "logy" in a sentence during a casual office conversation today at which point both co-workers (superiors, I might add) expressed doubts at it being a real word.
*pwns them royally with the American Heritage Dictionary*
