Miracle of all miracles!
Packing is AWESOME.
I found a disc that my brother-in-law made for me before clearing everything off of my old computer. It is all my old music! 385 songs, many of which I haven't heard in YEARS! Included are some weird bands that Mark discovered back when Napster was free, like Self, Zebrahead, and Ozma, as well as my brother's old friend's band the Selzers, who are no longer together but produced some great music and I'm probably the only person on earth who actually goes out of my way to listen to them, but I think they're great. They were pretty big in NYC for a while, I think. A few oldies gems, as well. This is so exciting.
I also found my wisdom teeth in a little tiny envelope...I might throw them away, since I thought I already did.
There's a huge power outage from the storms, and the recording at the electric company estimates we'll have it back by Wednesday at 8pm. Glad we have a generator.
Seriously, I'm gonna have a mini dance party with this music reunion!
