Basic background and theories of international relations with focus on the interaction between nation states, international organizations, regimes and transnational movements. Themes examined include foreign policy conduct, international security and political economy, human rights and environmental management.

A general study of the evolution of Europe since 1900. Covers militarism, fascism, communism, and existentialism in the context of European history.

RLST4730- Whores & Saints: Medieval Women Th 5-7:50pm
Studies how women are presented in texts, as well as works by women. Investigates the roles open to women and societal attitudes toward women, who were considered seductresses, saints, scholars and warriors in the middle ages.
