Denis Leary has a new show, and it's like he made it for me! Sex&Drugs&Rock&Roll is making me SO HAPPY. It's about an aging rock star who is very much past his prime, and his daughter he never knew he had drops into his life wanting his old band to get back together and write songs for her. It's crass, crude, offensive and FUCKING PERFECT (for me). It's on FX, and they've only shown two eps, so please, if this sort of thing is your sort of thing, check it out. :)
I go in for the third round of chemo tomorrow, and considering how tired the last one made me, I don't expect to be back online all week. Mostly, I expect to feel like shit and sleep forever. I'm hoping that I'll feel much less like crap by the time it's VVC. I've decided I'm going to skip club vivid this year, because I won't have any energy to dance, and I'd just be too paranoid about liquid getting spilled on the PIC line in my arm. I'm also going to be paranoid about germs (depending on what my doctor says, I may or may not be hugging people), and I'll have hand santizer on me at all times. Besides that stuff? I'm really, really looking forward to seeing everyone and watching vids and revelling in the joy that is VVC. Oh yeah, and I'm running a panel with pipsqueaky called Life After Vidding.
