What $3000 gets you

One 600ltrs fridge in stainless steel and one $1000 netbook, which is being used right now.

Well the Fridge was actually $1850, but after delivery and all the extra bits, just under $2000.
My brand spanky "Whelp" was $990 retail, paid $1000 flat and go a bluetooth mouse, carry case and an external DVD R/RW drive. (I think thats what it is anyway... haven't opened all the packs yet.)

So $3000 down and a nice new kitchen setup, so happy about that, I've been wanting the new fridge for ages, and now I will have that and a great amount of freezer space. I can actually easily do a cook off and have room for everything now.

New netbook, well I have two other lappies, so it wasn't so much the need for a lap top as the fact that I have two realy big lappies, one is a 17" the other is 15.4" and neither is really portable or has the best battery life. THe little ASUS AS1810TZ i got has about 6 hours life and is small enough at 11.6" to be almost shoved into my hand bag to take somewhere. THe other nice thing about it is the keyboard is quite responsive, and the right hand side shift is actually a full size and in the right spot to not make typing a tital pain. The newish style big flat keys will take a little getting used to though, I'm still hitting adjacent keys at the moment, n where near as bad as I was worried about it being though.

YAY!

lappy, fridge, spending, whelp
