I splurged and ordered Colour and Light and Imaginative Realism last night along with my school books for next semester. (amazon is so much cheaper than the school bookstore guize)

I'm really excited because I've heard them recommended everywhere and the topics are totes things I need to work on.

I might have to sit around on my porch and wait creepily for the UPS guy though, he was too elusive last time (I guess the doorbell doesn't work...)

Also yesterday I went out to the art store (In the suburbs. I hate suburbs, suburbs are for people with cars >:| ) and used a giftcard I got last christmas to buy some stuff. I'M GOING FIGURE DRAWING AT MCAD ON SUNDAYS WITH DAT SHIT, I've been hesitant because my cash is low but it's only 6 bux a week and I think it's worth it

and it'll be nice to be able to do it ~my own way~ where I can reconstruct and actually learn anatomy instead of having to betty-edwards it via assignments that involve copying without understanding ghaslkdgsaf I mean that's good for knowing wtf you are looking at but once you're past that point, copying is a crutch.

I think once I finish commissions and trades etc I'm going to take fewer of them and just focus on my own art for a while; wolves are still fun and I will draw them forever, but I want to try new things and new styles and make actual finished drawings and learn about lighting because I suck at it. Post on conceptart.org and stuff (I never feel like my pictures are ambitious enough to go up on there). I always say I'm gonna do this but. IDK I'm super excited about art lately so maybe I actually will
