It's been a hot minute

So here I am, back on this old thing.  Life back in Chicago's alright.  Keeping steady with work at Home Run Inn, even though it's been beating the holy hell out of my poor hands.  Brian's gonna be getting the last of his stuff and moving in in the next two or three weeks, then I'll order DDPYoga for us, 'cause I GOT to do something about this weight issue (I'm failing MISERABLY, thanks to stress and going back to shitty habits).

Pops left Saturday for Florida, I'm sure he'll be okay down there.  He's been looking forward to this for a long time.  It's gonna feel weird having no reason now to even bother going back to Romeoville.  I do miss a few people I used to know there but the town itself?  Glad I got out of there.  I didn't belong there at all and it was just a waste of time.

In other news, I was thinking of writing a book.  It's about human development and centers around the first human born on Mars in the year 2068.  It's gonna have sci fi elements but it's not gonna be a sci fi book,  It's gonna be a look at where we've been as a species, and where we're going.
