Anyway, it depends really on what other genre she likes as well. Eerie Queerie's nice but there's a lot of stuff crammed in 4 books so it can sometimes get confusing. Tokyo Babylon is a good one if she doesn't mind the angst. If you don't mind something that's no quite as graphic as FAKE or Gravi, there are Petshop of Horrors or Vampire Game. Both have pairings in them in the background but really good plots as well. Those last three series are kinda long though.
But I think the #1 manga I would recommend has to be Only the Ring Finger Knows. Unlike PoH or VG, the main focus of the whole manga is the boys' love relationship, though it doesn't get past a kiss (however, the novel was just announced as being licensed by DMP and I do believe it gets more graphic in there, so maybe you could gradually ween her onto the more graphic stuff?)
I highly recommend OtRFK because I like it the most out of all DMP's yaoi releases so far, though it's not as graphic as the other ones (and that just goes to show how good it is because we know how much I love my smut)

Rew, I'm thinking this for her gift: Only The Ring Finger Knows, Cowboy Bebop Shooting Star Vol.2 (I sent her vol.1 already), A Roy Mustang of FMA action figure, (Maybe) A Maes Hughes action figure, Either a Seto Kaiba or a Roy Mustang poster (since they do not carry Touya of YYH) and a box of strawberry pocky. X3 She'll hate me for getting her all the swag, but I cannot resist!

Ah, so you're the chicken! XP That changes everything... well... one thing. As well as OtRFK, I now also recommend Golden Cain. It's graphic in a couple of parts but I think the plot could hold her attention more than the smut (it's got brothercest... but don't tell her that because it's spoilers) So flip a coin for either Only the Ring Finger or Golden Cain because they're both awesome!
