Goodbye, everyone! I'm off to Scotland!
I leave for Scotland in about twelve hours! Can't wait 'til I get there. Staying with my friend David in his flat in Glasgow. Going to hang out with him, his flatmate Ross, his sister Ali, his friend Danny, and many others.
Arrive Monday morning and will bum around town all day. Same on Tuesday. Wednesday we're going to Doune Castle, where Monty Python and the Holy Grail was filmed. On Thursday we're going to Edinburgh, where I hope to meet David Little for the first time for lunch.
Along the way I hope to participate in a pub quiz and sing karaoke. I want to have my photo taken with the Robert Burns statue in George Square and in the park where Renton shoots a dog in the butt in Trainspotting. I want to buy lots of Doctor Who things, watch Doctor Who, talk about Doctor Who non-stop.
I may have haggis, and I may be willing to wear a kilt. We'll see though. :)
Be back on Friday night, VERY late. Will be heading to bed almost instantly that night, to then get up and go to Jason and Terri's wedding next Saturday. So don't expect photos and stories until next Sunday at the earliest.
Oh, and a reminder: please don't call me next week unless it's an absolute emergency. Calls cost me $1.29 a minute while I'm over there, so I can't afford to talk sadly. Texts are 50 cents a piece too, sent or received, so don't text to chat, only if it's REALLY necessary, ok? Thanks all! See you when I return!
