I dont care about the consequences

possession outside in the lawn chairs
Night's dew subjugates my sleepy eyes
But my tongue is ready to chew
My teeth are in preparation to bite
The reasons you think I won't like "lovers"
Your mattress is messy
The sheets are tousled more than my hair
And after you clean up
They still lounge in last night
Cos all you do is sleep here
Burn marks in the microwave
Smell of cigarettes on the porch
Take me out with the trash
You are going out anyway.
You don't miss me or know me
You don't see me
Cos I'm asleep by the time you get home.
I'm asleep or ignored.
And I don't want you to say anything
Hold your tongue
In your throat even
The boy you named god will fish it out
Of the well.
He's inappropriate and unwelcoming
If you were to ask me.
But, I mean, come on,
Why, when you have so many lovers to love you
Would you reach out to me?
Why would you?
When I'm at the bottom of the well
In the dark
And the boy you named god
Is leaning over from the top,
glorified with light?
