first post
so, i'm abandoning blogspot, because... well, i hate posting there, and all my friends are on live journal (thus more likely to reply to entries), and... well, my username here is grammatically correct, whereas the other one isn't. details matter, guys. anyways, here's the info. this summer, i worked at coles, i have been paid several times (payment is important), been shopping some. i'll probably continue working there, because it's easy and close. whatever, don't really care. i also took japanese class. had an extremely cute professor (miyajima keiko sensei!), had one other white person in class (props to holly), and lots of asians (coming through the walls). i went home to alaska for four days this weekend, saw lots of fun people (notably my 4 parents and dave and matt), watched movies, and came back. hooray, qualifying for the pfd. and here i am, about to start class. classes are going to be: advanced french conversation, intermediate japanese 1, advanced poetry workshop, and societies and social sciences: linguistic perspectives. all my courses have to do with language, and thats how i like it. ok, happy first entry. i'll try to keep you updated. enjoy. now lets go get drunk.
