The Olympics Dream

So there, without much struggle, China got the Gold medal. Watching the match infuriates me. For a moment it seemed like our players weren’t even trying. They would look pissed, fight back and win, but only if China lets ‘em. Honestly, how can anyone go to a match like that not thinking “nah, I don’t think we can do it.” They’re undeniably unbeatable. Surely with that mindset, one's set to lose. But who am I to say they never tried? Knowing that they didn’t even take time to evaluate their opponent’s weaknesses, how far were they expecting to get?

Watching the Bronze medal play-offs between Japan and Korea just made me feel, for a fraction of a second, that maybe we didn’t even deserve the Silver. Haha. The Koreans just simply stun.

So, Lee Jia Wei’s singles? I think, for one, she lets her emotions overrun her thoughts. When the game is bad, it’s all over her face and strokes. Plus the way she smiled the moment the team finals was over just made me wonder. Maybe she’s thinking, it’s enough, imma chill. RAH

They fought every single point, no less, but somehow they were just… missing. Even the Panda dancing to techno entertained me that *arms wide apart* much more.

Aside, I HAVE to say, the commentators of the games are one helluva bastards or retards.
They never, ever, fail to make demoralizing sarcastic remarks that totally make me wanna kick them.

He kept making it sound like the Singapore team is set to lose. Then he tries to salvage it.. "... world number one, truly difficult to beat." *SUPER LONG PAUSE* "but..." *LONG PAUSE* "not impossible."

._. wah lao.

In the midst of the table tennis match, the guy was like “I can totally hear the Singaporeans cheering all the way at Orchard road… and Bishan...” and I’m thinking, what nonsense was he saying.

And when the screen showed a woman wearing this dragon head gear, he would never fail to refer it to an antelope’s antlers. For goodness sakes, it’s a dragon! What, staying in China for more than a week and he doesn’t know that? It’s like one of the mascots. So much for being the commentator, ha ha. (BIG BOO BOO, it is an Antelope :Z) If these men were to learn any Chinese from the games, it’s going to be “Jia you!” though they pronounce it as “Chia yo!”

The China people are just spirited, methinks. Though it might not be sincere (HAHA), kudos to them for cheering for our team.

And it’s just fascinating to watch Nadal being anal about where he place his water bottles. Ever so precisely and meticulously!

The Gymnastics finals, men and women alike, are the BOMB. Nastia Liukin deserved the GOLD. AND I would NEVER, over my dead body, accept that those tiny stick-like china kids are 16. Who are you kidding.
