It's been quite long since i developed a roll.
I think it's $3.50 per roll and prints is 50cents each.

It's alright to waste a few rolls. Film photography is a trial and error thing. You just keep trying and have fun in the process!

Enjoy.

It's not cheap. 12 prints cost 9.5bucks already. LOL
black and white cost $1 per print.

I do develop at Ruby's. Yes they do Cross-pro but that's only for slide film.

eh ive another question.

with the 35mm film right,
if i develop it wont it be like normal film negatives?
i have to scan if before it looks like something like..this

That's right. The lab people will not do prints for you because the area is undefined and is larger than the normal cameras. If they do prints for you, you will not see the sprockects (small small holes) which means you lose part of the image.

That image is attained by scanning.

ahhh

okay much much clearer now.
thanks loads!

oh and one more question,
normal scanners cant do the job?
is it cause of the resolution or sth,
cause i read somewhere that the image will be supremely small if scanner's resolution is 300dpi.
or is it just that random scanners will spoil the film or sth like that..

THANKS MAN :)

normal scanners will not do because to scan film you gotta have light go through it through the top and bottom. which explains why film scanners have glass panels in both the base and the flap thing.
Resolution can be changed quite easily, most scanners nowadays offer up to 1200dpi which is more than enough.
You still have to develop the film. After which only WATER will ruin film. i guess.
