(no subject)
today, believe it or not, house eight was quiet. like youcanhearapindrop quiet. its almost disturbing. this is the house that never sleeps and is damn near impossible to do any homework in. a bunch of people are gone...evan went home; chloe, rachel, jillian went the san fran; loud girl chayla is at a tennis tourney and thomas is with his family. i guess its good considering i havent focused on my studies at all since ive been here. but here it is 6 pm and you swear like ive cracked a book. ah, college is ridiculous!
i went to my first swim practice on friday. ive got a lot of work ahead of me and im not so confident in my abilities. oh well, success never comes easy and is never achieved alone. it should be an interesting ride.
i play soccer with my house on random days of the week and its insane how much fun it is. i guess its more like bumper people cause none of us know how to properly play soccer so we just wind up colliding into one another. i, currently, am proudly sporting a fatty bruise on my right shin and my right hip. bruises are the new fall fashion trend, i can feel it.
if i come back any fatter than when i left, you have permission to shoot me. i never eat cause i hate the food that is most easily accessable to me, i walk everywhere (not to mention swim now) and have had a total of three cans of soda since ive been here. oh, but we did order dominos last night. i was never really a fan of dominos but shit, it never tasted so good. anyway, no freshman 15 for me, bitches!
so far, i dont miss my family. i miss a real bathroom with a big mirror, MY TOILET and a remotely hot shower.
THE MARS FUCKING VOLTA plays at a club downtown santa cruz soon. im peeing my pants.
next weekend, im getting crunk.
i hate my core class.
did you know that on the first real rainfall everyone on campus runs naked? we are the only uc campus where it is perfectly legal to walk around butt-ass-naked. cool huh?
