So i've lost another close one.
i dont understand what it is, but this summer just has been leaving me with one less generation of family and it really sucks.
Leo was just an awesome guy, knew how to make everyone laugh and have a good time.
His car club/lowrider club's name was "Presence".
His car was nationally recognized and was given the nickname "Pegusus". About every car club including the Iron Horses motorcycle club in El Paso was there today to acompany a very very long funeral persession which last approx. one to two hours long before everyone was finally inside the cemetary. it was just a beautiful and very emotional funeral as most are, but never had i seen so many diverse groups so united and so loving and touched by one person, my godfather Leo was just a great guy. Car clubs he'd visited in california and odessa and florida and places all over even sent a few members down with their show cars to pay their respects to him.
i took pictures of the majority of allt he lowriders/classic "bombitas" that were in attendance, hopefully i'll be able to scan them and show you all sometime soon.
