Day 42 / 8 days left: Chapter sixteen, where I return from sick leave to a whole new office
This won't be long. I just wanted to write something before going home. After all, there's only 8 days left for me to work here. Then I get employed by my old boss for a month.
Weekend was really cool! I've never starred in an action-scene before so it was wicked awesome! I could so get used to it. I was crap of course, but that's beside the point. I really had a blast! I really really really want to try that again sometime.
I've been a tad bit sick for a while now. It got sorta bad at the cabin, but only in short spurs. Now I'm much better (which is a bit of a bummer, since I don't get to stay in bed). I was on sick leave on Monday, because I was feeling quite dreadful on Sunday and I figured I needed to sleep it off. I was very dissapointed in myself yesterday, because even though I got to stay in bed all day, I *still* didn't write ANYTHING new for my thesis. Bad, bad, BAD me! I suck!
Today was the first time I saw our new office. It's okay. It could be really pretty, but right now it's quite crappy, cuz we don't have cleaners or even shelves and all this stuff keeps piling up on every one's desk. I wonder if I even get to see this place in all its glory when we're finally finished with the whole settling-in part.
Now must go home. Hasn't been the nicest of days. I was feeling pretty lousy at noon, but then the feeling went away when I got to eat something. Or then the magic cure was the trailers I watched with utter satisfaction during my lunch at Tennispalatsi movie theatre! ;-D
