American Idol season 7 Top 20 eliminations

Getting better, getting better... The guys were okay this week, though the ones I was rooting for didn't impress me much, while the ones I didn't like last week exceeded my expectations. Michael Hutchence wasn't *amazing*, but the more I listened to him, the better he (or actually his song) sounded. He was my favorite this week. Again. I like him because he has something different about him. Everybody is going on about some people being "the next Chris Daughtry" or whatever, but I'm more interested in the people who are "the next themselves".

Rastafari was sorta... well, bad to be honest. The song just didn't fit into the whole man-with-the-quitar -thing. I'm still so pleased that he got to stay. He will redeem himslef, mark my words!

Hair mascara finally went home (a moment that was met with appalauds from me). He was just so... Well, see it for yourselves and you'll understand what I mean. And the hair! The HAIR! The hair mascara! Just... NO! Buh-bye.

I was hoping they'd ditch Luke Perry / Il Divo (M. and I are sorta competing on which nickname to use), but I quess I'll just have to bear another utterly boring performance from him next week. Wannabe-rocker made a bit of a progress, but not enough. An okay song choice, but if you perform a rock song like that looking like you've been sedated you're in for trouble. So Buff-daddy wore out his welcome and was sent home. Like Simon said: "It came down to being authentic".

...dude, it's a no-go. I've been working on the FB08-website ALL frekin' day long and I *have* to sleep. It's gonna be a long day tomorrow, and the day after that, and the one after that... My holiday is as good as over. Internship awaits. Crap.

I really liked my holiday :-/

Anyways, I have to continue this AI-entry another time. Got a couple more things to say, mostly about the girls.

Be seeing you...
