Continued...
So we got back from California and started to settle in to our new home. The day after Easter I (Kelly) got really sick. I had pancreatitis. EXTREMELY PAINFUL!!! The strange thing is that this is typically a drinkers disease!! Now I drink a little every now and then maybe a Margarita or a glass of wine with a special dinner, but nowhere near enough to get pancreatitis. But of course the doctors don't believe me that I don't drink and when I'm not feeling well and they keep asking me the same questions over and over I get a bit frustrated. Anyway... the doctors are still trying to figure out what caused it. I had to miss a few days of student teaching which turned out not to be so bad.
More recently, Thursday was my LAST DAY of student teaching!!! I'm graduating!!! I never actually thought I'd get my Master's but I basically have it now!!! I'm so happy to be done and to be able to go back to work and make some $$.
Now I'm sitting here waiting for the delivery men to bring us our new furniture. I feel so grown up...owning a condo, buying new furniture, painting the house. I have to admit I like being a homeowner!!!
