Fun, fun!
What a fun week it has been!! I barely had to work this week which right away makes the week great! But, its been even better than that. My friend Jen from New York is here visiting. Now Jen was my roomie freshman year of college even though she was a senior and I was a freshman. She also was one of my bridesmaids and is one of my closest friends. HOWEVER, I haven't seen her since my wedding. Which is over two years. We just don't get to see each other very often. So its been wonderful cathcing up with her and just hanging out.
Yesterday (for those of you who didn't know or forgot!) was my birthday. It was an awesome day. We got to hang out with a bunch of people and I just generally enjoyed the day.
Today Jen and I went all over the city of DC. We went to Arlington and some museums and then later tonight we are going to the monuments. I love seeing the monuments at night. For those of you who have never been to DC come and visit us and we will show you the awesome monuments. They are gorgeous.
Well, now we gotta go and meet up with Jim's parents for dinner!!
