I can't believe how good this weekend was. I mean the whole weekend. Starting on Thursday night.

I went to see the LATE taping with Taylor, and it was really awesome. Really funny, and just a really good time. Then we studied in her room, watched Peter Pan, and spooned a little bit, and made other people feel really awkward.

Friday it RAINED gloriously! I loved it, but I honestly got in a kind of down mood. The whole week had been arduous, trying to get through reading I didn't want to do, wanting to go home, but not wanting to stay at home, and trying to say something coherent in session (yeah right). On Friday I finally jumped into the Locke discussion that had progressed through the week, and I felt really good about that. After lunch, I walked in the rain back to my dorm and decompressed. I dozed off watching Will Ferrell, and then I went to return a book to Barnes and Noble, which they wouldn't take back, so I browsed all my favorite sections - poetry, children's religious picture books, Christian inspiration (partially looking for something awesome, partially laughing at all the silliness), travel guides, and art books. I had spent the whole afternoon and evening alone, which was refreshing, but I started to feel lonely and really down. I was going to go to Manisha's to hang out with the ladies of St. Barnabas, but I was hungry, so I got Rubio's and promptly dripped funky sauce on every article of clothing I was wearing - both shirts, my pants, and my cardigan. So I just went home and changed. Going to Manisha's lifted my spirits. I finally met and got to know Juliana Qualls, who is a wonderful lady with a beautiful family (a husband and three sons!). Their story about their journey as Christians is really awesome.

On Saturday, the Torrey freshmen were doing group building activities, which I helped to lead. Those freshmen are so great, and a lot of them have become friends, which I love.

Man, I am really tired and have to study, and I would love to be able to process the rest of my weekend. Suffice to say it was amazing. After a few weeks of feeling very lonely, I am very glad and grateful to have had a weekend full of people that I love.

Oh, and tomorrow is the day that paperwork to try to get a Biola apt. is due. I am praying that I get it.

Oh no I totally just remember that I need to make like three Phanouropita. Dangit. I will do it tomorrow and give them to St. Barnabas people!
