I Just Took A Shower
As in, not a bath. As in, not at the gym. As in, the tile is done enough that we can do that now.
We still need a caulk line here and a bit of regrouting there, a bit of prettying up along the side of the tub, and whatnot, but the basic big field of rewalling and retiling is done. It even looks fairly nice. VV is pleased.
I am working on another bit of smut. If I say that in public, I feel more compelled to finish it. It's going to be the sort of sword-and-sorcery Fritz Leiber was famous for, but with more sex -- and more of it between the heroes. Heck, whatever sells. The anthology thing seems to be doing quite well in initial sales. I just might see money out of it in a quarter or two. (And -- joy and rapture -- my corner of the anthology has nice words in the reviews.)
Puppies are still here. I've re-Craiged them and mean to try posters tomorrow. We took them to PetCo yesterday and let people love on them. Wilma, renamed Wanda, actually took an interest in other people this time and moseyed up to someone's kid. I was proud of her. Bruce still pretty much likes everyone, especialyly people in sandals because toes are fascinating.
Oh, and I was AWOL from my computer life because we have a new one now, and getting it online turned out to be a bit of a bugger. Pardon my typos if I missed any. The keyboard is rather different from what I'm used to.
