informal economy... how true. The book brings up valid points. I didn't get to tell you... I passed by a bum who have a gameboy... the nice small clear purple one... which means he's got games... and batteries.. what a luxury. I walked past that dude like... maybe an hour later and he was smoking cigarettes. Cigarettes are expensivee~~ like $7.50 a pack. That dude sure knew how to spend his money. The cigs probably helped a little with sustaining his hunger x}
Aw hell, I don't even have a Gameboy. Well technically I did but I lost interest and loaned it to someone and never got it back xD That bum sure knows how to spend his money though...and how to get it. At least you can't call him lazy, regardless of how he gets his money. I mean, knowing me, if I panhandled, I would be too lazy to even steal a cup...I'd just freeload off a friend in an apartment until she kicked me out *pointed glance your way* =)
heyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy!!!! =) long time no see! XD
That's awesome, what college do you go to? Columbia? NYU? XD
Actually, I'm not in the city at the moment. I go to college upstate, at Binghamton, but i'll be home for spring break during april 2nd to april 9th, so maybe I can see you then ^^
Binghamton is okay. But you run out of things to do easily up here, and the professors post an excessive amount of supplementary reading on Blackboard xD;; But they're all nice and competent enough. I've done a number of stupid things in the dining hall since I got here - first I walked out without realizing I hadn't paid (and I got away with it! XD), then I took the display dish, and recently I walked into the dining hall without my dining card
