Since "Dirty Chum" was saying how I only post up stuff about food, I'm going to post some historical/tourist attractions in Berlin.
Here's the Brandenburg Gate. When the Berlin wall was still up, this was one of the few places people (mostly from the west) could try and cross over without getting shot. But everyone had to show a bunch of documents and stuff so a lot of people were rejected.
This is the Reichstag. It's an important government building that was set on fire in the 1930's. Norman Foster designed the plans for reconstruction. I think on a normal day, this place gets about 4-5 thousand visitors.
The cool part about being an architect student here is that they schedule appointments for us to get into places like this so we can cut all these people in line who have to wait about 3 hours to get inside. Needless to say, they weren't too happy when we walked passed them in line.
