I think I'm about to write a story about a mother of one of my students. And I'm going to submit it to The View.
It's Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and she's a stage 4 breast cancer survivor, a mother of 5 (including two autistic sons), a survivor of divorce, an intern in a pediatric field, and my room parent.
She just found another lump.
And I hope she knows she's my hero. If no one else thinks she is, I do.
Keep her in your thoughts. She needs lots of well wishes heading her way.
