I think I'm getting this idea from something we read in freshman tutorial last year - something about the way the author wrote her narrative, where her emotional state would manifest in her body - more than just your average psychosomatic effects. That whole sense is hovering right now... that the intangible deeply and distinctly affects the tangible. And I wrote something as such, but I don't know what to do with it.
But the mysterious bug bites aren't part of it.
