I saw a very compelling movie today Yes. Compelling. Thats the word you use when you want to say "interesting" but you don't want to imply "entertaining." It is "thought-provoking" but the thoughts are too vague to amount to anything. There is just a disjointed sense of thoughtfulness. The movie is Stay. Great cast. Visually stunning. Thats another word. Means "beautiful" but too weird to be "enjoyable." So as it is it just smells vaguely of Lynchianism leaves a strange aftertaste. Anyone else see this movie?
