long time no post
Wow, so I couldn't even tell you the last time I was on this thing, let alone posted on here! Facebook is pretty much where I'm usually at on most days...
Anywho, for those that still read this....Darin and I celebrated our 1 year anniversary back on April 12th. Back in February I was laid off from the Detroit Media Partnership, but interviewed for a different position a month later, and a month after that I started that position. I'm actually typing this from that position. I'm very happy where I'm at now. I'm no longer with the Classified department anymore. This position is in the Online Digial Sales department. So I work with the Cars.com and Apartments.com sales reps. I'm just glad to be apart of an area of the company that they are moving towards.
Hmm, other than that, life has been pretty uneventfull! Within the next month, we'll be opening the pool, so I'm excited to have friends and family over and BBQ and do some swimming!
Darin and I ordered a new desktop computer the other day. I'm so excited to get it. It's a Terabite of Hard drive space, 8GB of Memory, and a 512 video card! Freaking amazing. Not to mention it was a Dell Certified Referbished computer so we got it for like $600 less than what it would cost if we built it ourselves. We also ordered a 22" flat screen monitor, which actually arrived at the house today. The computer will be here tomorrow. I cannot wait!!
