Well, I think it's time for a wedding update. Mainly because I'm in my last hour & a 1/2 at work, and there's not much for me to do. :)
Last week was a busy one. Tuesday we had a meeting with our Travel Agent. We ended up booking our Honeymoon that evening. We booked a Western Caribbean Cruise through Royal Caribbean. We leave out of Miami on May 17th and return May 24th (Memorial Weekend). Our room is on Deck 9, and we are still figuring out what land excursions we want to do. We will heading to Labadee, Haiti - Montego Bay, Jamaica - George Town, Grand Cayman - and Cozumel, Mexico.
The following day we went to Entertainment Express to see Billy who showed us a few of the limos we were interested in. We ended up booking the big Tour Bus see it
HERE. He ended up getting us a great deal on it for 6 hours.
Also last week I went and tried on my dress. It looks beautiful! I have an appointment for alterations on Feb 10th (day after my birthday) so that should be fun. Oh, yeah, and Darin's ring was purchased too last week. He picked it out. I think it's sharp. It matches pretty well with mine.
Last night I went out with my Mom and ended up finding shoes for the ceremony and the reception. Yes, I have a different pair for each. They are both super cute too!
Now, this week, all that's left is a meeting with the florist to discuss flowers for the shower (if we decide on having any) and the meeting/tasting with the bakery on Saturday.
My fingers are crossed that I get the invites out by the end of this week. Almost everything is purchased and finished for the shower so that's a relief. Next I am working on my DIY signing board for the reception.
I just can't believe how quickly this has come up. Today at Weight Watchers I lost 4 pounds, so that was good. My goal is to loose 15 more by the wedding! I can do it (though I may need a push or two)!
Well, so as far as all the wedding details, that's about it for now.
