It’s well known that Japanese keep using fax machines in spite of all the modern communication options: the shops are full of various new models. Yesterday saw in Bic Camera a cleaning disc for FDD drive (3.5 inches, not 5), for a “normal” price of around $10. Tonight they were showing on TV young people competing in calculus on abacuses (and I know now that one is supposed to say “abaci”)
