Duet Mar 2002 Kamisen Museum
Was going through my hard disk, and discovered some translations that I had done of magazine articles...like more than 5 years back. It was at a time when my enthusiasm for learning Japanese and all about V6 were really high. These days, the learning Japanese part seems to have stopped, but enthusiasm for V6 is still as high (p_-). Hope you all will enjoy this:
Okada: Let's read out a PostCard. "In Myojo's December issue, at the time of your debut, Ken-kun mentioned that he was terrified of Sakamoto-kun; has Sakamoto-kun lost his temper lately?"
Miyake: He was terribly scary in the past, but of late, has he lost his temper...???
Morita: These days, 'Ojiichan' (uncle) never gets angry. It's boring, ne. Before this, prior to turning 30, "Sakamoto-kun's scalp smells fishy", will get him really riled up. It was really funny.
Miyake: Talking about Sakamoto-kun, he has only one thing that gives us a topic for discussion. He gets obsessed with playing the same game over and over again until he loses interest in it!
Morita: These days it's GOLF, ne.
Miyake: Before this, it was Baseball alllll the time. At one point in time, the other 2 Tonisen members were totally irritated and distressed by it! (laughs) When the 3 of them were at the butai, they kept hearing the same sound (from the game) over and over again. They said that whenever they hear the sound, they'd forget their lines. (laughs)
Morita: But playing games without sound effects is not as fun, ne.
Miyake: I understand that too, but he could have changed the game's cassette occasionally (laughs)
