「Opening」

At last!

Fi-na-lly!

ARASHI's tour opened at Osaka.

However, I seem to feel differently about the opening, feel different from all the times before.

I had waited for the rest in the dressing room, twice, even though we were all performing together.

May 15th.
During the day, I had an interview, and when it was over, I went ahead to the concert venue.

I had to wait a while before the rest of the members turn up.

18th May.
Due to the volleyball Olympic qualifying matches, I had to return to Tokyo. Early the next day, I set off from Tokyo.

I had to wait a while before the rest of the members turn up.

It was around 30 mins before they arrived.

We strangely feel a sense of relieve each time the person we are waiting for turns up.

"Welcome home"

something like that.

"Would you like dinner? Or a bath? Or something else..."

something like that.

That kind of feeling.
(do you get what I am trying to say?)

Anyway, I had gone from Tokyo to Osaka twice, on my own. (Of course manager-san was with me...)

And so, at the time when we were returning to Tokyo, after the end of the concert.

I said this to the members beside me.

"Looks like the tour has started..." I said feelingly.

Next to me, Satoshi-kun had happily fallen asleep, and so I looked at Satoshi-kun's sleeping face as I said this.

"Looks like the journey has started for the 5 of us"

again feelingly.

...eh?
How come that sounded so gross?

Father!

"Iya~whenever I look at the face of my son when he is sleeping soundly, I feel such happiness, ne~"

...that sounds just like a father!

But.

I had started the concert getting around on my own...

So, I feel really relieved when the 5 of us are together again.

"Yes, yes. That kind of feeling".

And! so!

ARASHI's journey has started and will end on 6th July.

Firstly, Osaka. It was great and we enjoyed ourselves.
We received a lot of power.
Thank you.

I hope this year's journey will be the best too.
