Goods Meeting
The Goods samples are placed on the table, and sitting on the sofa in front of it are Ken, Go & Okada. First of all let us start with the conversation on the penlight.
The penlight samples have 2 colours, blue & white. 「Let's wave it about!」 said Okada, who promptly does so, a penlight in each hand. 「How is it? Is it fun?」 says Okada, as he tries to feel what the audience feel shaking their hands about. Then, with the staff-san also waving the penlights about, 「Ne, do you feel the fun coming?」 what a nonsensical question (laugh). Okada seems pleased with the penlight, saying, 「It is light, which makes easy to be waved about, yone~」.
Go holds the penlights vertically, and started mobing them up and down, as if they were spoons. Then he starts to check them out, and tries to bend them like some optical illusion (laughs). After that, he takes a good look at the colors of the penlight, and says, 「Up to now, we've never ever had white coloured ones before」. Ken then chirps in, smiling sweetly, 「It's beautiful, yone」. 「Both are great, ne~!」, Kamisen seems really satisfied with the penlights.
Next, the cap that Go had wanted to create by himself! He had said that, since he gets the chance to create it by himself, he is going to make it something useful!. And so, the cap is something similar to the ones Go himself usually uses. With regards to the color, 「Either grey ir black would be good ~」, 「The words will look great in black~」, he was going down to the minor details. From the design down to the material of the cap, Go had given all the input for it. Please, do hold it in your hands and have a feel!
Next to go, Ken held the "Coin Case" in his hands, it being what he had requested for. with Okada goofing around with it (laughs). It is made of silicon, and is round shaped, with a little slit in the middle for the coins to go in, the same slit from which the coins can be retrieved out. It is this slit, that Go's finger is attempted to be stuffed in..., Okada is having so much fun (laughs).
However, for his own suggested goods, the amenity set which comes with mini bottles, tootbrush, mini towel in a pouch, 「I wish for the bottles' contents to be easily identifiable, yone」, and so he is checking out the detailed design. He had also proposed that both the mini bottles should have different colored caps.
As for the color of the pouch, as he was pondering over that, 「Black would be good ~!」, to which Ken tells him, 「That's good, ne!」. This prompted Go to say, 「There are other colors too, yo!」, which starts off both Ken & Go trying to persuade Okada to listen to each of their views (laugh). However, Okada just goes calmly 「It's OK」 to the two of them. 「I will create something that doesn't resemble anything we have had to-date」, so do not forget to take a look at this item, Okada's creation!
The meeting progressed on. This time, Ken is taking a detailed look at his coin case, touching and feeling it all over. Then he is says, 「Which is better, glossy or matte? For the material ~」. After the material was decided on, he was looking through the designs on the computer, with the designer, saying, 「I would like the design to look like this, yone」. 「It will be nice to have it handwritten on this side ~」, 「If it looks like this, it is cute too, ne」, said Ken as he expanded on the images.The designer concurs with Ken, and said with a smile, 「This design, is very idol-ish, yone」. Due to that, it is named "Love $ Coin Case"! If you are curious about the design...be sure to check it out at the venue!
Many more meetings were held, meetings like this, until we finally have the various LIVE goods finalised.
On top of the goods that we have mentioned earlier, i.e. penlight, cap, amenity set, Love $ coin case, there are other goods, like the Jumbo Uchiwa of course, and then there's the cool visuals of each Kamisen which are printed on the bath towels! Please look forward to them.
